Employer Sends Interest
When a profile fits, the employer sends an interest request with the role and a message. The candidate is notified — with the company name visible.
Candidate Decides
The candidate reads the opportunity and chooses to accept or pass. Full control. No pressure. If they accept — and only then — their identity is revealed to the employer.
Identity Revealed, Connection Made
After acceptance, the employer receives the candidate's full name, email, and contact details. Real conversations can begin from a foundation of mutual interest.
The Anonymity Guarantee
We enforce anonymity at the database level, not just in the UI. Even if someone bypasses the interface, they cannot access identifying fields.
Row-Level Security
Supabase RLS policies prevent any query from returning identifying data to unauthorized users.
No Name Fields
Candidate profiles have no name column. Anonymity is structural, not just a display toggle.
Consent-Gated Reveal
Identity data only flows after the candidate explicitly accepts an interest — triggering a server-side reveal.
Right to Delete
All your data is deleted permanently when you close your account, including from backups within 30 days.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can employers find out who I am before I accept?
No. Your name, contact details, and any identifying information are never visible to employers until you explicitly accept their interest. Even if they try to guess from your bio, we recommend keeping descriptions generic.
What information is visible on my anonymous profile?
Skills, years of experience, work preference (remote/hybrid/on-site), availability status, location region (country/state), salary expectations, and a bio you write without identifying details.
Can I see who's viewed my profile?
You can see an aggregate count of profile views in your dashboard. Individual viewer identities are not shown unless they send you an interest request.
What happens to my data if I close my account?
All your data — profile, experience, CV, and connection history — is permanently deleted from our servers when you delete your account.
Can I remain anonymous after accepting?
Once you accept an interest, your identity is shared with that specific employer. You remain fully anonymous to all other employers on the platform.
Is my CV uploaded securely?
Yes. CVs are stored in a private storage bucket. Employers cannot access your CV until after you accept their interest. Even then, they receive a time-limited secure link.
